Release info:
The new Krachtek Elektronik album has finally been released! It features completely rewritten and rearranged songs dating all the way back to the late 90’s along with brand new productions. This LP has become a deeply personal, ruthlessly honest and sarcastic self-reflection, as well as a tribute to all those lovely people out there who are working hard to make our little planet the worst place in the universe.
For the first time, 6 out of the 10 songs have lyrics and every track includes recordings of vintage and modern hardware synthesizers, both digital and analogue. Thanks to a very creative and passionate sound design approach, the album has quite unique sonics within the broad boundaries of the synthpop genre, reminiscent of the best era of electronic music from the 80’s combined with modern state-of-the-art technology.
Recording, mixing and mastering were done at an audiophile level using high-end analogue and digital equipment, as well as top-notch software tools. The end result is a very dynamic and crystal clear sound with deep basslines, dirty vocals and unearthly synths presented with incredible width and depth. Oh, and some nasty aliasing of course, in case you wondered.
I hope you will enjoy the latest Krachtek Elektronik album and that it was worth all the extra work re-recording almost everything during the last 3 years; actually every time I got hold of a new synthesizer, hardware processor, or just simply had better ideas.
